I started with digital photography over 15 years ago. Photography has now become my greatest passion. And with my years of experience, I am always looking for the perfect photo.
I like to photograph nature and all kinds of landscapes (landscapes, woodscapes, waterscapes and seascapes). I also enjoy street photography and photographing architecture (buildings and bridges).
And if asked, I am happy to do a photowalk, to photograph events, parties or (family)portraits on location.
My philosophy:
In my photos I want to show the atmosphere and emotions that the subject I photograph evokes.

Current camera gear:
Sony full frame cameras:
- Sony A7R V. This is currently my main camera. It's a high-resolution 61-megapixel camera with fast autofocus and a wide range of features. It's the camera that does it all for me.
- Sony A7 IV. My second camera. With virtually the same image quality, but fewer features and a resolution of 33 megapixels. The A7IV is one of the best all-around cameras on the market. And what is also important to me: it's a camera with the same button layout and the same new Sony menu as on the A7R V.
Sony lenses:
- FE 14mm f/1.8 GM. A large-aperture wide-angle prime lens offering G Master quality in a very compact design. Ideal for landscape and astro photography.
- FE 20-70mm f/4.0 G. Compact and lightweight standard zoom with an excellent focal length of 20mm to 70mm. And with a constant f/4 aperture. Ideal for landscape and street photography.
- FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS. A relatively small and light telephoto zoom with fast autofocus and excellent G Master image quality. Ideal for wildlife and landscape photography.
- FE 100mm f/2.8 Macro GM OSS. The fast aperture of f/2.8 and the magnification of 1:1.4 (with my teleconverter approximately 1:2), the minimum focusing distance of 0.26m and the G Master image quality makes this lens ideal for macro photography.
- FE 1.4x Teleconverter. I can use this converter in combination with my 100-400mm telezoom and my 100mm macro lens.
- FE 85mm f/1.4 GM II. A great portrait lens with fantastic bokeh and outstanding G Master image quality.
